IPAF Training

If you work at heights, you are almost certainly required to undertake IPAF Training. This course covers the theory behind working at heights, as well as practical training on safe use of equipment. Successful delegates receive a PAL card (Powered Access Licence) for each category that they have completed. The PAL will contain the delegate’s name, the date they were assessed, the type of IPAF course they completed and the expiry date.

High Quality Training As Classroom-based Courses

After completing the course, candidates will receive a free IPAF membership, which includes unlimited use of the insurance management system and a specialist advisory service. This certification enables candidates to understand the IPAF platform and its features and functions. IPAF Training courses are also accredited by the TUV and confirm to the ISO 18878 standards. The courses typically take one or two days, and the course consists of theory and practical work. In addition to the practical course, IPAF also offers certification to individuals that wish to become a licensed operator or a certified IPAF trainer.

The IPAF MEWPs for Managers course focuses on safe use of MEWPs on site. It explains how to select the correct equipment for a job and how to minimise risks. Moreover, it can be completed through eLearning or at an IPAF training centre. The eLearning course provides the same high quality training as classroom-based courses. Students can also complete it at their own pace, and complete the training when they have the time.
